We just need to make sure we are changing for the better, that we're being transformed from glory to glory, that we're growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ. Those who refuse to change are not God-fearers, because those who love Him are changing every day. PRAYER FOR THE NATION 2012

Almighty God,

We are grateful beyond expression for Your love. Accept our thanks for your blessings that have been poured out upon us this day and our Christian faith that binds us. Make us strong to do Your work, willing to heed and hear Your will, and write on our hearts these words: "One Nation, Under God."

For we are given power not to advance our own purposes, nor to make a great show in the world, nor a name. There is but one just use of that which you have given us, and it is to advance your will. Help us to remember that it is not our will, but thy will be done.

The Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us or forsake us; so that He may incline our hearts to Him, to walk in all His ways... that all peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no other.

Heavenly Father, as your servants we will go where You lead for we dare not build the house without your blessing. You are the solid rock upon which we stand, our foundation. Direct our paths, oh Lord, and make clear the way in which we should journey. Help us, Father, to unite your people and lead them in life-changing prayer. Give us courage and passion and may they be contagious. By Your grace, please give us the words to speak and the tools to equip. Prepare us for what You are about to do and refine our hearts that we may be Your instruments. We depend on You for all things and thank You for all You have provided.

AFFIRMATION OF HIS LOVE

Can I truly forget what He has done for me?

No, but what do you do when you reach a place of spiritual dryness? My life is a blessed life! God is constantly showing me His love.

Spiritual dryness comes when you neglect to read God’s Word daily. Work has been very challenging for me lately. We tend to let the job, and personal things, like finance, and all other things crowd in on us, “Too busy” for God’s Word causes spiritual dryness. We will talk about spiritual dryness later.

Why did I chose “Affirmation of His Love” for my devotional today? Well, simply because God’s plan for the redemption of the world is an affirmation of His love! Let’s take a look at two women God used to show His love through.

Read (Luke 1:5-66):

Pay close attention to these verses
(11-22)
“And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.”

What is Affirmation?

It is a declaration that something is true.

Words of affirmation and praise are gifts to the hearer. In all relationships, including marriage, affirmation is a balm. In fact, Willard F. Harley, Jr. says that affirmation is not only desired but also needed. Admiration is one of the five most basic needs of men in a marriage. Husband need to be praised by their wives, especially in a world that criticizes and discourages. But, I really want to talk about the affirmation of God’s love toward His people.

Praise from God:
Let’s talk about these two women (Elizabeth and Mary). Luke describes Elizabeth as a woman who was “righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless” (Luke 1:16). Elizabeth was descended from a priest, Aaron, and married a priest, Zacharias. She lived in the country of Judea near Jerusalem, where her husband served as priest in the temple. Her name means my God is good fortune or my God has sworn an oath. She was a godly wife, honoring her husband’s role of religious leadership. As a result, she was blessed by God. God praised Elizabeth’s righteous life and blessed her barrenness with a child. An angel appeared to Zacharias to announce the birth of a son. The birth of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ are very similar.

Praise of Others:
Elizabeth had influence as a wife and a mother. She also had influence as a friend and a mentor. She was a relative of Mary of Nazareth, who became the mother of Jesus. Both women were pregnant for the first time, and they developed a strong bond of friendship. They shared a devotion to God and a love for each other. The older woman, Elizabeth, became a spiritual mentor to the younger woman, Mary. Through her daily example and constant encouragement Elizabeth influenced young Mary.

Mentoring relationships promote spiritual growth in women. Who have been some influential mentors in your life? We will pray about that later.

Praise from Others:
Jesus Christ Himself gave Elizabeth her greatest praise when He said, “assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist” (Matt. 11:11). John the Baptist, himself a great prophet, prepared the way for the Messiah’s ministry. He preached repentance and judgment and lived a very simple,
Rugged lifestyle. The significance of his ministry was confirmed when he baptized Jesus in the Jordan River (see Mark 1:9-11). Jesus praised Elizabeth’s life because she had raised a godly son.

As Elizabeth and Mary awaited their sons’ births, neither fully understood the impact on history their sons would make. The affirmation of our God’s love. Nor could either women have been aware of the cruel deaths their sons would face. After a very popular ministry (see Matt. 21:31-32; Mark 11:27-32; Luke 7:29-30; John 10:41) John the Baptist was imprisoned and then beheaded. (The account of his death is found in Mark 6:14-29.) Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, was crucifixion is recorded in Mark 15:20-37.) For Elizabeth and Mary the miraculous births of their sons were causes for joyous celebration; their deaths were painful but powerful components of God’s plan for the redemption of the world.

My devotion is late, because of the dryness I have experienced lately. And, it is to encourage you to never forget that God’s plan for you today is to mentor another woman, to use every opportunity you get to influence someone’s spiritual growth and to offer affirmation in their lives. God ordained mentoring as a ministry to others and as a blessing to all women as Elizabeth and Mary did.

I have many nature sisters, and there are two of them that offer that in my life. One is younger, and one is older than me. God has blessed us to be there for one another as mentors. That is a double blessing! I also have Christian online sisters in my Proverbs31 email group (Devout Women) who has been there for me too, and I surely want to be there for them as well. I need to stay focus and spiritually alert. I love these ladies! Thank You Lord for them.

You are called to God’s affirmation of love ministry, and that ministry is to mentor another woman by sharing your life experiences and faith in God with her. So, lets not forget what God has done for us.

Prayer:
Father God, bless all women, touch their lives with positive influence to be mentors to others, so Your affirmation of love can be experienced more, and we all can walk in spiritual growth and excitement of Your Word daily, Amen!

Love and Faith Go Together

Gal 5:6 ...faith avails, operating through love. Eph 6:23 Peace to the brothers and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Do you know that your faith operates through love? A person who hears the gospel, repents, and then comes to appreciate the Lord Jesus and feel that He is altogether lovable, will have a strong faith. This faith operates through his love for the Lord. The more we love the Lord, the stronger will be our faith in Him. This is Paul's thought in Galatians. Ephesians, however, emphasizes love, not faith. In Ephesians Paul's concern is not salvation, but continuation and fellowship. This requires love with faith. If our faith is weakened because we accept doubts and questions, we shall find it difficult to love the Lord. Whenever faith is damaged, love will be damaged also. In order to continue in fellowship with the Lord through loving Him, we need a strong faith. Therefore, we need both the faith that operates through love and the love that is with faith. We have pointed out that love is from God. This means that love is on God's side. Faith, on the contrary, is on our side. Hence, the phrase “love with faith” implies traffic between God and us and between us and God. Love is from God to us, and faith is from us to God. God gives us love, and we respond with faith. This is the traffic between love and faith. Through this traffic peace remains our portion. We are kept in peace by God's love coming to us and by our faith going to Him.

Relaxing with the Lord: (Psalm 18:1-50)

My time with the Lord is a very relaxing time. I get my Bible, cup of coffee, and I just relax with the Lord and God's Word.

I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.

The pangs of death surrounded me,
And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me;
The snares of death confronted me.
In my distress I called upon the LORD,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.

Then the earth shook and trembled;
The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken,
Because He was angry.
Smoke went up from His nostrils,

Greed Stinks!

Mary Southerland Today's Truth
Colossians 3:5 (NIV) "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry."

Cantaloupe may very well be my favorite food. When it is in season, I stock up and always have some on hand. On one particularly hot day, a lunch of cantaloupe sounded luscious ... and it was. Afterwards, I was gone for several hours, running errands. When I walked back in the front door that afternoon, a foul stench nearly knocked me down. It was such a strong odor! A dead animal was my first thought. A plumbing problem was my next idea. I began a room-to-room search that ended abruptly at the kitchen sink. Opening the cabinet underneath, I nearly gagged at the stench that slapped me in the face, making my eyes water. I instantly remembered that I had thrown the cantaloupe peels in the garbage before running errands and forgotten to take them to the outside garbage can as I usually did. The house reeked and the delicious cantaloupe was forgotten as I threw the peels away, lit every candle I could find and opened every window in an effort to eliminate the odor of rotting fruit. Nasty!
Greed acts the same way in our life and must be treated like garbage. Deliberately throw it away. Remove it from your life as soon as you discover its presence in your life. In 2 Corinthians 7:1, we find the apostle Paul's strong warning to "purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God" (NIV). Greed is the gangrene of the soul and if not quickly dealt with, will contaminate every emotion, creating a foul stench in every part of life. Choose against it. Fight it with Scripture and bombard it with prayer, remembering that God alone is our provider and that He will supply our every need.
I have come to the conclusion that the underlying problem with wants and needs is that we confuse the two. What we want and what we need are not always the same things. Anyone who has met my husband will tell you that he is down-to-earth and unassuming. Dan may be a mega church pastor, but he is also very approachable and unpretentious. The truck Dan drives is proof that he is totally unimpressed with the material things this world has to offer. Our family named the truck "Old Blue" for two reasons. It is old and it is blue. However, it is paid for and it runs and that is all Dan needs. However, I am certain that he would not turn down an offer from someone who wanted to buy him a brand new Ford F-150 truck as a Christmas gift. In fact, from time to time, I have seen him gaze at some bright, shiny new truck with longing in his eyes.
Dan is the lead teaching pastor of a church that runs over 5,000 people in attendance each week and could easily rationalize driving a nice car or truck as part of his pastoral image. The only problem with that idea is that Dan is not the least bit concerned with his pastoral image when it comes to material possessions. He is, however, deeply concerned with the image of God being seen in his life.
Is it wrong to want and desire nice things? Not if we view and use those nice things as tools and refuse to worship them as idols. I sometimes think God has to strip us of everything we have so we can learn the life changing truth that He is our Source. Just as the shepherd meets every need of his sheep, God meets our every need. Just as sheep totally depend upon their shepherd's care, we would be wise to depend totally upon God. He is our Provider. He is our Source and He is all we need.
Let's Pray
Father, I can be so greedy! Please forgive me when I live as though You cannot provide my every need. Help me to walk by faith, knowing that You love me fiercely and will take care of me fully. You are my Father, my God ... my Provider! Thank You!

Do you really see God as your Provider, the One who stands ready to meet every need you will ever have? Does your life reflect the promise that God is enough?
Think back to the times when God met your needs. Record each experience in your Victory Journal. And if you don't have a Victory Journal, today would be a great time to start keeping one. Make a habit of searching for and keeping a record of God's provision in your life.
Read and memorize Luke 12:15. "Jesus said to them, "Be careful and guard against all kinds of greed. Life is not measured by how much one owns" (ICB).

The Bible an Explanation of the Mysterious God

Bible Verses

John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. (7) If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

In order for the Lord to abide in us, it is necessary to let His words abide in us. By what means did we hear the gospel and receive the Lord as our Savior? It was by His words. When we received His word, we actually received the Lord Himself because the Lord is in His word and He Himself is the Word. According to the same principle, if we want to allow the Lord to abide in us, we must let His words abide in us.

Now, since we have in our hands the Scriptures which are full of the Lord's words, we should not say that the Lord is far from us, that He is still mysterious, or that He is still so spiritual instead of being substantial. Praise the Lord that we have something very substantial, available, and practical in our hands. We have the Word. We can read the Word and receive it with our heart and our spirit. We can contact the word of the Lord in our spirit day by day and even moment by moment. As long as we are contacting the Lord's word, we are contacting the Lord Himself.

The Lord is very mysterious. For this reason, we can never understand Him by our imagination. Rather, we must read the sixty-six books of the Bible. We must read these sixty-six books word by word because all of the words express, explain, and define our mysterious Lord. If we want to know Him, we must know the Word and how to deal with the Word.

My heart is grateful that God has kept me through my transition of the new job. Its a blessing to have a new job after my last patient went to be with the Lord. Everything I experienced, God show Himself to be faithful, and true to His Word. I am not going to share much, because I am still transitioning to the new job with the new family. Very nice family! God never makes a mistake, we do, amen. Most of my time has been spent praying to God, trusting in God, and depending on Him to see me through this, even when no one else was here, God was. I am reminded of the scripture God gave me in 2003 "Cast all your cares upon Him, for He careth for you" I Peter 5:7. This scripture has been my life since then! I have been casting a lot on the Lord, because I just can't handle the things that has came into my life lately. We were not built to carry them. I am so glad the Holy Spirit remind me of that every time. So glad!! My sons still need your prayers, thanks. I am standing on God's Word concerning them too. Be not weary in well doing, for in due season we all shall reap if we faint not. Sometime I feel a faint coming on, BUT GOD! God's Holy Spirit will lift us when we need Him. I am sure of that! I was sharing with a online friend how lonely I was on July fourth, but I really was not that lonely because Jesus talked with me through the whole day. He whispered to me and told me to "I am here!" I love to hear that from my Lord. Remember, we are always and forever in His care.

I HAD AN VISITOR THIS MORNING THAT ARRIVED EARLY, SAT DOWN WITH ME AND CHATTED FOR A WHILE ABOUT HOW THINGS
WERE CURRENTLY GOING FOR ME IN MY LIFE.

AFTER VERY CAREFULLY AND COMPASSIONATELY
LISTENING TO ALL THAT I HAD TO SAY, HE SAW THE SADNESS ON MY FACE AND THE TEARS IN MY EYES.

HE STOOD UP, WALKED OVER TO ME, LEANED OVER AND GENTLY HELD ME FOR AWHILE BECAUSE I WAS HAVING A REALLY HARD TIME WITH SOME ISSUES.

THEN, AFTER REASSURING ME NOT TO WORRY,

I would love to be outside reading my Bible right now! God's Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path today. I am in a place with God that He will honor it by answering my prayers. I am sure of that! I am standing on His Word through it all. We live by our faith in Him, and that is His Word that we must trust. God will never leave us nor forsake us. That is His promise to us daily.

Father, I pray that Your will be my will, Your ways be my ways, Your desire be my desire, and Your thoughts be my thoughts today, and always, AMEN!

Strange but very true...

Isn't it strange
how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church,
but such a small amount when you go shopping?

Isn't it strange
how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church,
and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?

Isn't it strange
that you can't find a word to say when you're praying but..
you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?

Isn't it strange
how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible but
how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel?

Isn't it strange
how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games but
they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?

Isn't it strange
how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks
before the day so we can include it in our agenda,
but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute?

Isn't it strange
how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others;
but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?

Isn't it strange
how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say but....
we question the words in the Bible?

Isn't it strange
how everyone wants a place in heaven but...
they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?

Isn't it strange
how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away but
when we are going to send messages about God,
we think about it twice before we share it with others?

Confess, Believe, Receive:

Scripture: (Romans 10:9)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

My devotional book encouraged me more this morning when I read it. Teaching about confessing, believing, and receiving from God. How awesome that is to know that you can go to the Father and receive from Him! Listen to this, If getting saved is the biggest miracle and yet, by the way, my devotional book is "Prescription For A Miracle) by Mark Brazee: Good book! I have been reading it for eight years now. I read it over and over again. Its that good to me. Well, if getting saved is the biggest miracle and yet the easiest thing you ever did, would a lesser miracle, such as healing, be more difficult to receive?

No, we receive salvation and healing the same way. They are both part of God's redemption plan. You'd be amazed at your results if you simply received healing by faith the same way you once received your salvation. Just say, "Lord, I know in my heart that by Jesus' stripes I was healed. I receive You as my healer now. Thank God, its done!"

Now, don't check to see if you feel healed. You aren't healed because you feel better. You're healed because the BIBLE says you're healed.
And if you hold fast to your faith, your healing will come to pass! Remember Isaiah said in (Isaiah 53:5) "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Therefore, we are healed when we pray, confess, believe, then we receive.

Today is a beautiful day here in the country part of Georgia. God has blessed us with a sun that shine so bright. But, let's talk about the Son that shine so bright in our hearts daily. I know that picture looks like she is so relaxed, and have no problems. That can be us too! We have no problems that can not be handle by the Son of God. He shine on every one of our problems, and cause them to disappear, just as the sun shine on anything too hard and makes it melt away. I want to be like her today, be relaxed and comfortable in Jesus. God's fidelity bring me felicity each day, so I can be like her. Relaxed. I am casting all my cares upon Him, because He has proven to me that He cares for me. Yes, I must go through, but I don't have to go through alone. Jesus said, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee!" I am hopeful in that. As 2 Chron 26:5 says, "As long as I sought the Lord, God made me to prosper and be in peace." Obedience and righteourness will make you to prosper in the Lord. I see the Son shine in my heart, and I want to share it with others, so that you can know Him in the midst of your problems. Yes, Problems will come, BUT GOD. Keep God's Word (the Son) in your heart by read daily and getting to know Him personally. I pray this bless you today. Always remember, you are In His Care.

KEEP THIS IN MIND

I know, Easter is over with, but we must keep this in mind. Jesus died for us to remember what He did, not to forget it. Some people say, we should remember Him on the cross, but I want to remember what He did for me every day. This does not bring Him down off the throne of glory, it does not send Him back to hell, but it let us know what He did for our sins, and that we are forgiven today. This is the Day! Some went to church yesterday because it was Easter, but I go to church every day when I just remember what He did for me. When I see the cross, and a image of Him on the cross, then I remember even more. My image of Him is in my mind, not what man draw, but it helps the image I have of Him. I am not offended of what man draw, because I have the image He desires me to have in my heart. I don't serve Him because of the image, but because of what He did for me. I am so grateful! Be blessed, and remember today too

Yes, even though I am going through some hard times now, I still can sit and count my blessings. Let's see............

First of all, "The Lord is my Shepherd"

I have my life, my health, and my strength regardless of the things going on. I have a good job. I have peace from God. I am a child of God. I am a devout women of God. I am His servant. I am the redeem of the Lord. I am blessed and highly favored by God. I have Jesus as my Savior. I have the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of me. I have His grace on my life daily. I have the syrophician's faith. I am the handmaiden of God. I walk by faith, and not by sight.

I bow down to You, O Lord. I can see all these characters bowing down to God's characteristics;

My will

My desire

My plans

My intensions

My behavior

My heart

My mind, and all of me.

Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name; I will bless the Lord at all time.

PSALM 91

I posted this Psalm, because its so needed right now in my life and my sons' life. This is my emergency number when I need God the most. (911). God never fail His people! We must trust Him always, even when things look it worst. There's nothing too hard for the Lord, nothing! I am convinced of that truth. When the way seem hard, look in God's Word, better yet, even when thing are going good, look in God's Word for the answer. Psalm 91 teach that we have a place in God that nothing or no one can hurt us. He is our dwelling place of safety. Amen!

Walking By Faith
Scripture: (II Corinthians 5:7) (King James Version)
"For we walk by faith, not by sight:"
Fear has torment (I John 4:18): There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. If we are not walking in love, then we are walking in fear. Fear has torment; who want to be torment? Not me! I prayed for deliverance, and God blessed me. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want; I will fear no evil (Psalm 23:1) ". . . I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." (v4). That's the Word! When you experience the difference, then we can be a walking testimony to others. That is why we must share our testimonies today. I love this quote, "When you can't sleep, don't count sheep; talk to the Shepherd."
God has promised He will never leave us nor will He forsake us in times of need, and He will give us sweet sleep (Proverbs 3:24). Fear not! Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me (John 14:1). Before the Christmas Holidays, I feared going home to visit my family, because there were always, always something wrong happen. So many negative thoughts went through my mind. The problems in the pass, the problems in the presence, and those that might occur from the visit. I walked in fear just thinking about going! My joy of spending time with my family was gone. I drove out the driveway in peace, because I had prayed and asked God for peace. I was so amazed of the peace I had after the tormented thoughts of going to visit my family for almost two weeks; Yes, I know, it shouldn't have been that long, but it was.
Jesus said in (John 14:27), "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." God said through Isaiah in (Isaiah 9:6), "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." And He called Him "Immanuel," which means, "God is with us." I can truly say, God was with me from the moment I left the driveway on Christmas eve until I droved back in that driveway the day after Christmas Day. I am so blessed! I have been chosen by God! The days I spent with my family the enemy tried to discourage me, but (psalm 18:43) says, "Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people…." (v32) says, "It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect." I had a perfect Christmas Holiday with my family! Amen. God is blessed when we put our trust in Him (Proverbs 3:5). On one occasion one of my brothers was angry with the family (selfishness), but God kept me in perfect peace. "Walking By Faith." When we walk by faith, and talk faith, we are actually trusting God's Word. And we must use God's Word in all situations, or the enemy will try to dictate our plans. I don't need that, and I don't want that either. I am learning to walk by faith! God through His Holy Spirit is teaching me to truly trust Him with all my heart, and I don't have to walk in fear, but by faith and in love; (read I Corinthians 13).
Question:
What does walking by faith means?
It means total trust in God, be at rest in His Word, seek Him through His Word, pray His Word, let not your heart be troubled, and know He will be with you always and forever, and most of all, know you are In His Care. (I Peter 5:7)
Prayer:
Give hear to my prayer, O God; attend unto me. I praise You, Father and thank You for hearing my prayers. Father, whoever read this devotion, bless them to experience walking by faith through Your Word, and trust You in all their ways, so You can direct their path; thank You Father. We pray this prayer in Jesus' name, Amen.

Have you ever decided you are going to buy a specific item, no matter what the cost? Jesus is asking us to follow Him, no matter what the cost, because the rebate will be eternal! How would it feel to you to have our Holy and awesome God be pleased with the work you have accomplished for Him?

PRAYER:
Lord,Give us expectant and bold hearts as we look for opportunities to proclaim you and your words to those around us. Amen

Part 1 of 2

Effective immediately, please be aware that there are changes you need to make in your life. These changes need to be completed in order that I may fulfill my promises to you to grant you peace, joy, and happiness in this life.
Quit Worrying....Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?

Put It On The List....Something needs to be done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not on YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can't help you until you turn it over to me. And although my to-do list is long, I am, after all, God. I can take care of anything you put into my hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of a lot of things that you never even realize.

Trust Me....Once you've given your burdens to me, quit trying to take then back. Trust in me. Have faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. Problems4ms with kids? Put them on my list. Problem with finances? Put it on my list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For my sake, put it on my list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.

Leave it Alone....Don't wake up one morning and say, "Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here." Why do you think you're feeling stronger now? It's simple. You gave me your burdens and I'm taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don't you know that If I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with me and forget about them. Just let me do my job.

Talk To Me....I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I'm in control. But there's one thing I pray your never forget. Please don't forget to talk to me OFTEN! I love you. I want to hear your voice. I want you to include me in on things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with me. I want to be your dearest friend.
